WorkART - Hosts wanted for students from St. Paul and Minneapolis (USA)
Since 2012, we have been offering students from St. Paul and Minneapolis internships at German Kunstvereine (non profit art associations). We have a long-standing partnership with universities and colleges in the region.
We are following the events in the Twin Cities with great concern and hope for a swift de-escalation, as called for by Jack Walsh, Governor of Minnesota, Mayor Kaohly Her, and Mayor Jacob Frey.
We mourn the deaths of Renée Good and Alex Pretti alongside the citizens of Minnesota. Our concern is for the observance of democratic and constitutional principles in the treatment of immigrants, US citizens, and protesters.
Against this backdrop, we would like to strongly promote the WorkART exchange program and transatlantic, international exchange.
We are looking for hosts for students from St. Paul, Minneapolis, and Boston.
Duration: 4- to 6-week internship (from mid-June to the end of August 2026)
Students receive scholarships to cover travel and accommodation costs. Billing is handled exclusively by the partner universities. The program is funded by the DAAD.
