The Kunstfonds´ call for the program Plattformen opens on 1 May 2026

The KUNSTFONDS_Plattformen programme supports institutions and venues that present and promote contemporary visual art, thereby contributing to current discourse. In addition, it supports experimental and innovative concepts by collectives and independent curators that take place in physical venues or on physical platforms.

Funding is available for comprehensive projects, including those spanning several months, which involve, for example, exhibitions, symposia, conferences or alternative formats.

The call for applications for the KUNSTFONDS_Plattformen programme opens on 1 May 2026. The application deadline is 31 August 2026. We will publish updated funding guidelines and further information on the application process shortly after the call for applications opens.

The programme is funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM) with funds from the German Bundestag.
