Adrian Ruth Williams has designed a sweater as an exclusive edition for the Kunstverein Harburger Bahnhof, which makes reference to her work in the group exhibition I Offer You a Journey Without Direction, Uncertainty and No Sweet Conclusion. In Arrangements Adrian Williams showed sofas that were advertized as “for free”. Signs of use, stains and seat marks on the sofas bore witness to the time spent with their previous owners. Each sofa in the exhibition space held a cardboard sign with short poems written by Williams. The words become entwined with the objects and combine to form a new image, each with its own title. The print on the sweater is released from one of these arrangements and now combines with the wearers of the jerseys to form a new unit.
