Kick-off event for the ADKV - Herzogenrath Forum

On 2 November 2024, the launch event for the ADKV – Herzogenrath Forum was held at the Dortmunder Kunstverein.

Through his foundation, Wulf Herzogenrath, co-founder of the ADKV, is enabling a new series of events that will provide important impetus for the Kunstvereine's work.

Central, controversial topics will be discussed, and practical expert knowledge from various fields will be imparted in coaching sessions and workshops.

As well as Kunstverein members and employees, the programmes are aimed at interested stakeholders from the arts and culture sector.

The combination of open, collegial discussion platforms and further training programmes provides an opportunity for targeted development and trusting exchange.

Political control potential in the promotion of culture

Lecture by Dr Justus Duhnkrack, lawyer and legal advisor in Berlin.

His book was published in 2024. Öffentliche Kunstförderung: Systematisierung und Lösungsansätze eines Verteilungskonflikts am Beispiel der freien Szene.

Awarding of the ADKV/Wulf Herzogenrath Prize for voluntary work in art associations to Gertrude Wagenfeld-Pliestert, Chairwoman of the Oldenburger Kunstverein.
